Junior Crusaders Tuition Refund Policy
Revised June 8, 2018

Without exception, no refund will be granted for tryout fees, evaluation fees and/or registration deposits as all are deemed non-refundable. Tuition fees are also non-refundable. For tuition fees, the board of directors will accept written requests for a refund exception only in the following circumstances:

1. If a player should suffer a hockey-related injury at a Junior Crusaders Youth Hockey event and, as a result of that injury, is unable to participate in the normal activities of the organization for more than half of the regular season.
2. If a player's family moves more than 50 miles away from the center of Worcester prior to January 1 of the current season.
3. If a player withdraws from the program by providing written notification to the Board before July 1 preceding the season.

No refund will be granted for any reason other than the aforementioned, including, but not limited to, players leaving JCYH to join another organization, whether hockey related or not; to play for a high school team; and/or due to dissatisfaction and/or problems with coaches, teammates, ice officials, and/or leagues.

In all circumstances, proof of exception must be submitted to the Board together with the request.  The amount of refund, if any, will be pro-rated but in no circumstance will it be more than one-half of the tuition payments made to the JCYH.  The timeframe, in which a tuition refund check will be issued, if approved, may be subject to availability of program funds.
