The Marty Finn Award is presented annually to the individual or individuals whom have shown outstanding and dedicated service for the betterment of Milton National Little League.
Marty Finn was a little league coach, volunteer and advocate for all players, despite their level of ability. Marty guided the focus of Milton National Little League in several areas; he pushed for more instruction for players and coaches, he urged the league to direct more attention to the minor league players and he recruited parents who were on the fringes of volunteering and brought them into the fold.
Marty was instrumental in getting more minority participation, as he was a strong advocate of openness and inclusion for the kids and parents in the entire community. He also encouraged volunteer participation and spear-headed Milton National Little League's contributions and improvements to the towns playing fields.
Marty espoused everything little league stands for, and Milton National Little League is what it is today because of his involvement.
