Hilary Duda-Head Coach
Hilary Duda is currently the assistant director for the Summit Lacrosse Club here in Denver. Recently she was the head coach for Franklin Pierce University (DII) in Rindge, NH. Before her time at FPU she was the assistant coach at Northern Michigan University (DII) in Marquette, MI for two years and before that she was a graduate assistant for Regis University in Denver, CO.
Duda was an attacker for Regis University lacrosse team and earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and minored in physical education and coaching in 2015. Duda then followed up with a master’s degree in coaching leadership from the institution in 2017.
Duda was a four-time All-Conference selection at Regis as a student-athlete, including back-to-back selections to the All-RMAC First Team as a junior and a senior. She piled up a team-leading 78 points on 31 goals and 47 assists as a senior in 2016, on the way to All-Region Second Team honors from the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA). She finished her career with 214 points (121-93-214), which ranks fifth all-time in program history.
As a player, she was a part of the program’s first-ever RMAC title in 2014, as a junior, after helping the team earn the RMAC regular season crown for the first time as a freshman in 2012. As mentioned earlier, her year as an assistant coach saw the program earn its first ever NCAA Championship berth. Originally from Minnetonka, Minn., Duda was the first-ever “Miss Lacrosse” in 2011.
Katie Coleman-Assistant Coach
Katie played collegiate lacrosse at Regis University in Denver, CO. As a student-athlete Coleman was named Preseason Defender of the year in 2015 and later helped captain Regis to the team's first-ever NCAA Championship appearance in 2017. A redshirt season allowed her to return in 2018 when she was also a captain on the school's first-ever NCAA regional championship team. She was an All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference First Team selection as a sophomore, a Second Team selection as a junior and an Honorable Mention selection as a senior. In addition, she earned All-Academic First Team honors from the RMAC as a senior and was a two-time selection to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association's Academic Honor Roll.
Graduating with a degree in Health and Exercise Science Katie went on to work as a Medical Assistant in Boston, Massachusetts in a well recognized Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Clinic. Katie holds vast experience in coaching at both the club and college level. Katie previously coached both 3D Colorado and 3D New England before accepting the Assistant Coach position at Franklin Pierce University under Head Coach Hilary Duda. Outside of lacrosse, Katie holds an ACE fitness certification and is versed in coaching group fitness classes as well as strength and conditioning programs.
