- Life Time member of USFHA since 1997

- Level 2 certified USFHA Coach 

- Played for Hounslow and Southgate Hockey Clubs in the UK;  2 time European Club Champions

- Captained Greenwich CT men’s team to 4 US National Club Championships

- Member of the United States Men’s Masters National Team that competed in The Hague Netherlands 2014 and Barcelona Spain 2018

Junior Varsity Coach: Jen Telford

• Waterford High School 4 year varsity field hockey player and senior captain (2005-2009)
• Eastern Connecticut State University D3 field hockey player (2011)

Jen (Mitteness) Telford currently teaches health and physical education at Staples High School. She is also going into her 7th year coaching the Junior Varsity Field Hockey team and just completed her 3rd year coaching the Freshman Lacrosse Team. She earned her BA from Eastern Connecticut State University where she was a D3 field hockey player. Jen also completed her MA at Fairfield University. In her free time, Jen enjoys teaching Zumba, running road races, and spending time at the beach. In short, Jen loves teaching, coaching, and she loves being active! 

Freshman Coach: Mary Katherine (MK) Hocking 

• Three Year player at Sheehan High in Wallingford
• 7th year coaching at Staples, 8th year English teacher
• USA Field Hockey Level 1 Certified
• Interests outside of field hockey: travel, reading, UConn athletics
• MK lives in Fairfield with her husband, Chris, and her dog, Liffey
