The Age Divisions in the CPYVL will be based on the grade level of the girls. The hope is to have a 3rd grade division, 4th grade, 5th grade and 6th grade divisions. Due to uncertainly about how many teams there will be in each division, it may be necessary to initially combine 3rd and 4th graders into one division and/or 5th and 6th graders into one division.
The boys must play up a grade level; so a 3rd grade boy will play on a team in the 4th grade division (or on a 3rd+4th grade combined division). A 4th grade boy will play on a 5th grade team; if it is a combined division, he will play in the 5th+6th grade division.
