Intermediate Division (Age 13)
The Intermediate (50/70) Division is a recently sanctioned division and provides a competitive setting for players to advance their baseball skills. Players interested in participating in the Intermediate (50/70) Division must attend a pre-season assessment to gain eligibility for the player draft.
The format for play follows traditional baseball rules with a 50-foot pitching distance and 70-foot base paths. Practices begin in mid-March, and games begin in mid-April. Regular season games are played on weekday evenings and Saturdays at a variety of locations in Boulder and surrounding communities. Additional exhibition or tournament games may be played during the regular season schedule. The regular season concludes in mid-June.
- NBLL will provide each player with a team jersey and cap that they will keep
- NBLL will provide baseballs and catchers equipment for the players to use
- The players must provide the balance of their uniforms (cleats, pants, socks and belts), bats, batting helmets and a baseball glove
Players in the Intermediate (50/70) Division are eligible for selection to an All-Star Team that will participate in a post-season tournament at the District level and potentially at the State level in July.
Any player registering for this division must live or attend school within the geographic boundaries defined for NBLL. For more information on player eligibility and the NBLL geographic boundaries, click HERE.
