The Majors Division is a competitive baseball league for Little League Age 10-12 year olds (see the Little League Age Determination HERE). There are no age exceptions for Majors. Team placement is through a player evaluation process (tryout) and a division draft. Majors managers and coaches reinforce baseball fundamentals, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun.
Majors teams will play approximately 16 league games, as well as an end-of-season tournament
Majors games are played on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (except for Saturday Opening Day)
Players on a Majors team should expect to be on the field 4-5 times per week with games and practices
NBLL will provide each player with a team jersey and cap that they will keep
NBLL will provide baseballs and catchers equipment for the players to use
The players must provide the balance of their uniforms (cleats, pants, socks and belts), bats, batting helmets and a baseball glove
Players in the Majors Division are eligible for selection to an All-Star Team that will participate in a post-season tournament at the District level and potentially at the State level in July.
Any player registering for this division must live or attend school within the geographic boundaries defined for NBLL. For more information on player eligibility and the NBLL geographic boundaries, click HERE.

Majors Tryouts All players who register for the Majors must attend a tryout. Tryouts are tentatively scheduled for Sunday, February 26 and Saturday, March 4, at Iris Fields, weather permitting. Specific times will be published on www.nbll.com and updates will be emailed to players that have registered for Majors. Players need only attend ONE tryout session. In the case of inclement weather, tryouts will be held on a date that is TBD. All 12 year olds will be drafted onto Majors teams, and 10 and 11 year olds not selected for a Majors team will be placed on a AAA team. The purpose of the assessments is to ensure that players are registered for the division that best matches their playing level and to assist in forming balanced teams within each division.
