Chris Gragnano, Director of Hockey
Grags played high school at Christian Brothers Academy, where in his senior year he was named team captain. That year he was also named to the All-County and All-State teams. Upon graduation he went on to play hockey at Providence College. After some time with the Friars he went on to Vermont where he joined the Green Mountain Glades of the EJHL. Chris currently serves as the assistant coach at the Gunnery, coming off a New England Prep School Championship in 2016-2017 and runs Total Hockey Development where he trains local collegiate and professional players in the summer.
John Miserendino, Assistant Director
John has spent the last 10 years as a professional power skating & skills instructor and coach, and is currently the Head Coach of the Wilton High School boys’ varsity team and coaches with DYHA at the Midget, Bantam and Mite levels. He is a USA Hockey Level 4 certified coach and has served and Director of Hockey at Sono Ice House where he was the coach of the U12, U14 and U18 Norwalk Roughriders teams. John has also served at the lead instructor of the New York Rangers Assist Program and the Hockey in Norwalk Foundation.
Brett Farson played prep hockey at Philips Andover and then moved on to Amherst College. He has been coaching youth hockey for 12 years and currently the hockey director with the Greenwich Blues. Brett is currently the head coach of the Rye Country Day School who he led to a conference championship in 2017.
Victor Baryshevtsev is the pioneer of Russian hockey skating techniques. Victor was an alternate on the 1988 Russian Olympic Team. He has trained NHL players Max Pacioretty, Artem Anisimov, Matt Moulson and more.
