Happy Father's Day
by posted 06/21/2022

8-9-10 American League Manager Frank Bellavia, Coach Joe Morse, Coach Dan Uscinski

ALL celebrated Father's Day at our 8-9-10 All-Star game at Barcroft Park. Dads were introduced along with their American League or National League player before the start of the game. Then, several of those dads reported to the opposing dugouts where they proceeded to coach their teams in an All-Star game! It doesn't get much better than that!

We hope all of our dads had a Happy Father's Day!

ALL "Blue" @ D4 Tournament

Chief Umpire Steve Sundbeck, Connor Rogers, Andrew Klinger, and Sage “Baby Moose” Rasmussen

Thank You, Blue!

Virginia District 4 playoff season is underway, and ALL's Team Blue is doing its part to make sure the games are fair and free of controversy. On Saturday, June 18, some of ALL's finest umpires called the 9-10-11 game between Falls Church and Mason District Little Leagues and the 8-9-10 game between Mason District and Alexandria Little Leagues. Chief Umpire Steve Sundbeck was joined by ALL alumni Connor Rogers, Andrew Klinger, and Sage Rasmussen.

It's a Little League best practice for outside, neutral umpires to oversee district competition. Our ALL Team Blue will be busy for the next few weeks calling games all over the DC metro area and at Barcroft Park. Whenever you are attending a youth baseball game, please respect the umpires and their decisions!

Our umpire program consists of 4 adult umpires and 42 teen umpires, but we could always use more! ALL offers extensive training for volunteer umpires. Our teen umpires earn $30-$40 per game. If you or your (12+) child is interested in joining our umpire crew, please email umpire@arlingtonlittleleague.org.
