Lake Nona Jr Lions Lacrosse: more grit, more cardio, less XBox
by posted 10/20/2019

Lacrosse is a fast, gritty sport that is rapidly growing in popularity across the country and among our colleges.
The 10v10 field game that is played during our spring season (and in High School) combines elements of sports you already know:
- Ball movement and passing game of basketball
- Positional play and cardio demands of soccer
- Footwork and grit of football
If your child is interested in trying the sport, our 4-Week Boys' Fall Lacrosse Academy is a great, cost-effective way for them to try the sport. If they like it, they can join us for our competitive spring season.
Our Fall Academy focuses on fundamental lacrosse skills while playing internal scrimmages. New players and experienced players will develop stick skills, footwork, and overall fitness during the 4-Week Academy (12 total practice sessions).

We'll see you on the field!
