U14's EDP Tournament Finalists!!

The U14 Yankee Attack closed out their 2019 season as Finalists in the EDP Winter Classic. With over 200 teams participating, Attack entered the finals undefeated and having given-up zero goals. 

The Attack competed in the highest bracket for U14, with teams from all along the East coast.

The final-four teams (including Yankee) were from MD, VA, and NJ. Yankee Attack finished as the Runner-Up in this competitive tournament. 

 

Great job, girls and Coach Wayne!

U18's go undefeated at NCFC College Showcase

Congratulations to Yankee United Blast U18 for finishing First Place in their group at the highly esteemed NCFC College Showcase in Raleigh North Carolina this past weekend! 

 

Blast played in the U19 Division in the second highest bracket (out of 12) competing against the BEST teams in the college showcase. 

 

Blast conceded 0 goals and scored 11 beating PDA ECNL 4-0, NEFC NPL 2-0 and NCFC Elite 5-0.

College Rookie Awards

100%  of  Yankee United 209 Senior Graduates all continued their soccer career in college. All of our College Rookies had great succuss amonst all divisions and we are very proud of the 3 being awarded conference awards.  

Freshman midfielder Camille Sahirul (North Haven, Conn.) was selected to the league’s (NE 10) All-Rookie Team, to give Franklin Pierce a total of three honorees in the NE10’s season-end awards. Sahirul played in all 16 games in the midfield for the Ravens. She chalked up two assists in her freshman campaign, and attempted nine shots along the way, including six on goal.

Sarah Lawrence has claimed the Rookie of the Year award in back-to-back campaigns, as Niki Dalrymple joins Kiley Ritter as the two Gryphons to earn the recognition. Dalrymple made an immediate impact in her first season at Sarah Lawrence. A four-time Skyline Rookie of the Week honoree, the rookie played in all 19 games, pacing the squad in points (49) and goals (22), both single-season program records. Dalrymple scored a goal in 12 games, including six multi-goal performances. Dalrymple's 22 goals rank sixth in NCAA Division III while her point total ranks No. 13.

Jessica Mazo landed on the American Athletic Conference All-Rookie Team. Mazo played in all 17 games for the Huskies during her freshman season and made nine starts. She posted one goal against Harvard on Sept. 15. .

Yankee United Columbus Day Tourney Success

Yankee United 2007 Panthers

Yankee United 2006 and 2007 teams competed at the CFC Columbus Day Tournament. Both teams went 2-1. 

Yankee keeper, Veronica Rrapi, posted two shutouts as our 2006 Attack team defeated CFC North 1-0 and Match Fit Academy ECRL 1-0.  Gemma Grech found the back of the net in both Yankee wins. The team lost 2-0 to Match Fit Academy ECNL who won the tournament with a 5-0  win against Aztec NPL in championship game. 

The Yankee United 2007 Panthers defeated South Shore Select Elite 3-0 and Match Fit Academy 2-1. They lost 3-2 to the bracket winner CFC Valley.
