Hampton heading South! Commits to Furman!
by posted 12/15/2020

2022' Defender - Hampton Zidlicky has announced she has committed to Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina to play lacrosse. Hampton has a confidence that you rarely see in high school athletes, particularly underclassmen. She's one of those kids who's constantly working on her game and that's obviously provided her with a tremendous skill set. But perhaps more importantly, it's given her a competitive edge and an element of mental toughness that most young players just don't have. There is nothing "soft" about Zidlicky’s game, this gritty Defender dishes out her fair share of punishment to anyone who opposes Team Cobra Kai. Zidlicky is the 4th player on this talented 2022’ team to be recruited to a D1 college program. Watch out for the “Hamptonator” when she suits up for Coach Whitten and the Paladins in the fall of 2022’. The Cobras are Rolling!

IVY Bound - 2022 Midfielder Marley Wright signs with BROWN!
by posted 12/11/2020

2022' Midfielder - Marley Wright has announced she has committed to Brown University!

Wright is one of the crown jewels of 2022’ recruiting class, Marley can hurt defenses in a number of ways. She has enough burst to get topside with regularity, showing a savvy and confident dodging style as well as a strong shooting stroke with time and room. The College Coaches love how hard Wright rides as well as her toughness when the ball is on the ground. She’s a throwback, a true two-way middie — Marley has the ability to stretch you defensively, and athletically, she’s a great combination of size and power. “Marlax” is extremely intelligent and effective with the ball, able to beat even the most athletic defensemen to the goal. She embraces contact and surveys the field with an innate feel for the game. Deceptively quick, her ability to shake defenders off is game changing and it will be intriguing to see what she can do as defenses focus on limiting her in the Ivy League. This is the 3rd Cobra on the current 2022' team to be recruited to a D-1 college program to play lacrosse at the next level. Coach Keely McDonald got a great one! Watch Out - The Cobras are Rolling!
