When do PREP classes for 2020/21 begin?
Wednesday classes: October 14, 2020
Sunday classes: October 18, 2020
Tuesday classes: October 20, 2020
Our PREP calendar will be updated throughout the year with class dates and events.
I need to change my child’s PREP class to a different day?
- Log into your PREP account on our website www.ryeprep.org.
- Click on your child’s registration form under “Registration History”
- Amend the first AND second choice PREP class
- Remember to click “SUBMIT” at the end of the page
- In addition, it would be helpful if you could send an email as soon as possible to
notifying us of the change you have made
NOTE: Wednesday classes are often the first to fill up, followed by Tuesdays. When classes become full, we may only be able to make a change if someone else requests to switch from that day. However, we will do our best to accommodate switches.
What day did I sign my child up for PREP?
- Log into your PREP account on the website
- Click on your child’s registration form under “Registration History”
- Scroll down to view the day and time you selected
When will we receive my child’s PREP class assignment?
- The PREP office hopes to confirm the day each student has been assigned by the end of September.
- However, actual catechist and classroom details will be emailed the day before your child’s class begins.
We have moved house/changed contact numbers/have a new email address etc.

- Click on each family member’s name individually and update the details accordingly
We are not receiving emails from PREP.
Why am I having difficulty accessing my Family PREP account or re-registering my child?
There are two main reasons why you may be having difficulty:
- Make sure you are using the same email address as last year.
- If you try to use a different email address to the one used last year, you will not be able to access your child’s records from the previous year
- Once you access your account using last year’s email, you will be able to update to the new email address by changing your profile
- If you were not the person who registered your child last year, it is likely that they either did not list you as a guardian, or they did not include the specific email address you are trying to use. Please check with other guardians in your family if this may be the case.
