Safety Precautions
At practices and games, we will follow all COVID health and government guidelines. Kids and coaches will wear masks if required to do so by local boards of health. Currently, masks are not required for outdoor youth sports.

Indoor practices will run from Tuesday, March 1, to Tuesday, March 29, at Tyngsboro Sports Center (1/2 and 3/4: 6-7 pm; 5/6 and 7/8: 7-8 pm). After that, practices will move outside to Livingston Field for 1/2 and 3/4 (255 Livingston St, Tewksbury, MA 01876) or Machado Field for 5/6 and 7/8 (119 Village St. Lowell, MA 01852 … the practice field behind Cawley Stadium).
Games will be on Sundays from April 10 to June 5. Away games are within a 45 minute drive from Lowell. Then there’s a jamboree tournament at the end of the season.
Players will need gloves, shoulder pads, arm pads, a helmet, a stick, a mouth guard, cleats, and a cup. Starter lacrosse sets are available at Dick’s Sporting Goods (310 Daniel Webster Hwy, Nashua, NH 03060). Used equipment is available at Sports Madness (101 Broadway Rd Unit 9, Dracut, MA 01826).
There’s a $40 registration fee for Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse League (to cover league costs), and a $165 registration fee for Lowell Youth Lacrosse (to cover town costs). If it’s your first season, a new starter pack of equipment runs $200-$300. These costs can add up. We have equipment we can loan to players, and are able to offer financial aid with the registration fees, if needed. If your son wants to play, we’ll get him on the field—just get in touch with us.

Our Approach
All are welcome—especially first-timers! Some of our guiding principles will be:
  • We’re here to have fun, develop fundamental skills, and grow together as a team over several seasons.
  • Everyone plays equal time.
  • We’ll take all the help we can get (parents/siblings can help run drills at practice).

For any questions, please email our town director, Jeff Wilson, at LowellYouthLacrosse@yahoo.com.
