Lincoln-Way Lacrosse Club was formed in the spring of 2007 and currently provides lacrosse opportunities for girls and boys in grades K thru 12.  Our co-operative high school program consists of players from Lincoln-Way High School District 210, which includes Lincoln-Way East, Central, and West.

The goal of our team is to provide a safe and productive environment that enables young athletes to learn and apply the principles of teamwork, discipline, dedication, and sportsmanship. We facilitate the development of strength and character in every player.

We strive to teach all players to Honor and Respect the game.

Participation in our Youth program is open to all K through 8th grade students that live inside and outside Lincoln-Way District 210. To participate in the High School program you must attend a District 210 school.
We are sustained by the efforts of volunteers who display an extraordinary amount of commitment and hard work, ensuring that our team is a positive influence in the lives of our players. We also strive to provide a service to our community by providing a healthy outlet for children and opportunities for the community to unite.

Sportsmanship - Teamwork - Strength - Character - Discipline - Dedication

LWLC participates in indoor and outdoor lacrosse programs for every type of player from beginner to advanced.

These programs emphasize the fundamentals of lacrosse, which include catching, passing, scooping, dodging, and defense. Participants will do drills designed to teach and develop these skills as well as team concepts to be used in intra-squad scrimmages.

Emphasis in practices and scrimmages will be on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

Reminder- Big News for Lincoln-Way Girls Lacrosse Families!

Dear Lincoln-Way Girls Lacrosse Families,

Big News...and we're super excited!

New Wave Lacrosse, one of the most respected lacrosse organizations in Illinois, will be
administering and running the Lincoln-Way Girls Youth Lacrosse Program moving forward!

“New Wave embodies all of the qualities that I would expect of a youth lacrosse program. The
New Wave staff have the knowledge and expertise to guide you as your player develops.”

-Tom Roessler, Lincoln-Way Lacrosse President

This change will allow New Wave Lacrosse to focus on developing and supporting the LW
female athletes throughout the year on many levels including skill development, lacrosse IQ,
competition level and the intricacies of lacrosse. Our professional coaching, constant
communication, administration and program development are key elements to this transition.

New Wave Lacrosse is a nationally-recognized organization known not only for their elite level
travel teams but also their ability to create and develop recreational community programs,
leagues, tournaments and all levels of instruction. This will be a perfect fit for the girls in the
Lincoln-Way area.

The girls programs at New Wave are run and coordinated by Gina Fisher (North Central College
all-time scoring record holder) and assisted by New Wave Lacrosse President, Kyle Sullivan.

One very important factor that separates New Wave Lacrosse is its 100% focus on developing
the love and skill level of our participating athletes. Our mission is to grow the Lincoln-Way
girls program and make sure that each and every athlete improves as a player and teammate.

Registrations and details for the 2020 Spring season will be launched on January 1st. More
information will be released at that time and we couldn’t be more excited!
