Registrations will close Sunday, February 23, 2020 at midnight and a late fee of $15 will apply.
Our baseball program fills up quickly so register now to avoid being wait-listed for a team.
If you are new to our community – Welcome! As always, volunteer coaches are essential to our program. Please indicate your coaching interest (head or assist) during the online registration process.
IH Youth Baseball operates under the umbrella organization Knothole Baseball – North Region.
The Knothole site is for information only, not for registrations. Registration and payment must be through IHRC.
Team rosters for all grades will be built in February / March. Coaches will receive those and communicate practice plans to families in late March. With IH Spring Break concluding March 30, it will be a push to get practices in prior to April 18 Knothole Opening Day.
Boys and girls in Baseball (Grade 2 and up), will practice two nights a week and play at least one game a week, for a total of 15 to 18 games depending on age. The season goes until school lets out, and for those qualifying includes the Knothole tournaments in June and July. Our Coach-pitch (CP) teams (K and Grade 1) will follow a similar routine; however, with half the number of games, and typically wrap up by Memorial Day. All Coach-pitch practices and games are on IH or Bob Meyer fields against other IH CP teams. Baseball teams will play "away" games within the North Region, which includes Terrace Park, Sycamore, Madeira and Deer Park, as well as some communities a bit farther out.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Gary Reich, (IH Baseball Chair) at or IH Rec Coordinator, Jack Alley at
