Learn to Play Clinic!

(January 15 @1:00)

Sharpen your skills or learn to play, but don't come alone. We want your friends to know what the game of lacrosse is all about too!

There is NOT a registration, just show up. We will be at Harrison High School, on the practice field to the back left of the school. It will start at 1:00 and end when you're tired.

No equipment, no problem!

We would love to see any boys or girls from K-8 grade.

Coaching Opportunities:

Do you or someone you know have experience playing or coaching lacrosse and are you interested in helping grow the sport in our area?  If so, we’d like to know!
Good coaching is important to the development of our players and HYLA wants to continue to grow our roster of qualified lacrosse coaches.  If you are interested in coaching with HYLA please
Contact Rebecca Smith with a brief summary of your lacrosse experience and the age ranges you are willing to help coach.

Hoya Youth Lacrosse has changed from the division of players based on Age Groups to Grade Groups.  The age groups correspond to USA Lacrosse division guidelines. The league "Newtown" that we play in, uses 7U, 9U, 11U, 13U and 15U levels.  The birthday divider between age groups is September 1.
Harrison Youth Lacrosse will continue to organize by grade level in order for players to compete with their classmates.  Because of this, we ask all players to be registered by grade level while paying attention to the age limit.  If your player fits into a grade, but is outside of the listed age range, we will require a waiver to be completed before the player can participate in games.  If you need a waiver form,
Contact Rebecca Smith for instructions.
