HSLL is closely monitoring official updates and following the directives of the CDC, US Lacrosse, State of Nevada and local authorities. HSLL very much wants to see players on the field and competing, and will make that happen as soon as it is responsible to do so.

BOX LACROSSE HAS BEEN SUSPENED DUE TO COVID-19 CONCERNS
PLAY WILL RESUME NOV. 30
Box lacrosse is a close cousin to field lacrosse, with a great deal of skill crossover, but there are significant differences. Box is played at a fast pace, with more contact all over the floor (starting at a younger age).
This year, High Sierra Lacrosse will be introducing an improved box lacrosse program intended to optimize the experience for all participants. The format has been designed to ensure that players learn skills and concepts specific to the box lacrosse game from the best coaching, and with the best coach to player ratio, available. In order to do this, players must have the basic lacrosse fundamentals necessary to learn and play the box game safely. Additionally, we are looking to minimize group size and optimize our limited floor space and time.
