Return to Play Readiness

Families,

As we prepare for DYSA’s Fall Instructional program, there are a few important items that need your attention and action before our first session this Saturday, September 12, 2020.

DYSA, under Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association, has a detailed Return-to-Play plan. Successful execution of the plan relies on everyone's full support. Please take time to review the plan to ensure you know you part. Click here to download and view.

Below are a few of the guidelines families need to know and act on as it pertains to some of the new protocols and standards. Coaches will go into more detail with you and your child(ren) before their first session:

(1) Every parent/guardian having a child participating at a DYSA event is required to sign a Massachusetts Youth Soccer waiver for their children for the 2020 season. DYSA has set this up online through your account. Click here to complete the process. instructions. Your child will not be able to participate unless this waiver is signed.

(2) Players are required to wear masks upon entry and exit of the DYSA facility. Players must wear masks while on the sideline and have masks with them during their session. Coaches will help players with mask management. Please also have your players sanitize their hands before and after each session.

(3) Spectators are required to wear masks upon entry and exit of the DYSA facility and during the entire session. Spectators must also maintain a 6-foot social distancing space. There will be specific spectator viewing areas for each field.

(4) One spectator is allowed per player; there are lined spectator viewing areas, entry walkways and exit walkways. For the safety of everyone, please follow the signs on the facility grounds; they will be clearly marked.

(5) Soccer balls will be provided for each player during their respective session per our new Return-to-Play guidelines; please refrain from sending your child to their session with a soccer ball. We have sanitizing protocols that will be adhered to before, during and after each session with all equipment.

We thank you for your patience, continued support, and doing your best to keep our children playing…looking forward to seeing you on the soccer field.

Return To Play

Updated 8.24.2020

DYSA's Return to Play plan outlines all appropriate measures the organization is implementing to ensure members can participate in soccer programs in a safe and responsible manner.

The success of this plan depends on everyone's commitment to supporting it. That means every coach, player, parent, spectator, and referee must abide by the policies and procedures outlined in the plan. Individuals who cannot comply with the conditions of the plan will not be able to participate in events at DYSA.
