Firecracker Sports Team Scout Day

Kirstin Trouville | Firecracker Sports – Field Reporter & Beat Writer

Location: Littleton High School – Littleton, MA

Graduation Years: 2022-2024

Brigade Baseball Team spent June 5th at Littleton Highschool for their 2021 team scouting day showcasing their talents and skills to college coaches. On the day, there were 22 total athletes between the graduating years 2022-2024. Johnson & Wales University, Worcester State University, Nichols College, University of Albany, and Dean College were all in attendance to evaluate and work in small groups with the players.

These players had the opportunity to display their skills both offensively and defensively including timed 60’s, pitcher/catcher velocities, and pitching/hitting metrics. Additionally they participated in dynamic warm-ups and drill sessions to receive tips and advice from the college coaches. A large part of this scout day is giving players exposure to scouts therefore each is rewarded with a  College recruitment video including all their skills and statistics.

Brigade Baseball Welcome

We are very excited to announce our 2020 AAU and Tournament baseball season.  Our focus is with players between 9-18 years of age and have a desire to improve their baseball skills.  Brigade Baseball is not intended to take the place of youth , middle school or high school baseball, but our platform (limited weekend games) will work in conjunction and accelerate their development for these programs.  Our agenda at the older ages is to establish a forum, through local New England tournament play, that showcases players’ talent for a potential college career.

Our mission statement:

To accelerate the development of baseball players of all ages and levels by providing an environment that builds skills, confidence and character.

The Brigade platform goes well beyond the baseball field.  This is about providing an environment that fosters building future leaders through a team focus.  Life lessons are applied to every facet of our baseball curriculum.  Our players will walk away with not only a great baseball experience but a set of core values that can be applied to real world experiences.

Spring practices and games will be conducted around Clinton / Sterling, MA and winter workouts at the Union Square Sports Hub, Leominster, MA
