We are looking forward to seeing everyone at tryouts/group practices.  A few things to remember:

· COVID questions must be answered and temperatures taken prior to arriving to tryouts. If you answer YES to any of the following questions, please stay home and send us an email:

o   In the past 2 weeks have you had any COVID-19 symptoms?

o   Have you had any close contact with any confirmed or probable case of COVID-19?

o   Are you currently experiencing a fever (100.4 or higher)?

General Schedule and Gear Info

All players will need to bring their own:

·      Mask or face covering wear the mask to and from the fields

·      Appropriate footwear

·      Girls – Pinnie, Mouthguard, Goggles, and Girls Stick

·      Boys – Pinnie, Mouthguard, Gloves, Arm Guards, Shoulder pads, Boys Stick, Helmet

·      Goalies should bring their own gear

·      FILLED water bottle

Before entering the field, we ask parents to please have their players put on all gear by their car and then have your child check in with the Bandits volunteers. Check in will open 15 minutes prior to the start of practice. After your child has checked in, we will ask them to stand on the side of the field socially distancing and wait until they are instructed by coaches to come onto the field. Currently, for players that are 8 years or older, we are discouraging parents from staying and watching practice due to COVID19. If you do stay, we encourage you to remain in your vehicle; parents are not allowed onto the field, and if standing outside you must follow all local social distancing and face covering guidelines.   

At the conclusion of practice, we will guide players back up to the parking lot used for check in. Please meet your child(ren) in the parking lot to help us avoid bunching of players and close contact.

Parents and Coaches can download the app iPhone /Android which will be updated by 3 pm on weekdays and 7 am on weekends. As PRCS manages a total of 425 recreation use areas (fields, diamonds, gyms, etc), you will want to mark favorites.

1. Upon downloading the app parents/coaches will want to search for: "Loudoun County" or "PRCS".

2. You can then scroll through all the fields/schools listed and by tapping the star on the right select only your favorites you would like to monitor‚  Remember there are 425 (fields, diamonds, gyms, etc) so you'll want to narrow it down to your favorites.

3. We strongly suggest you favorite the following Fields:

• Hampshire Park Field 1
• Hampshire Park Field 2
• Belmont Ridge Middle School

PRCS aims to have updates by 3pm on weekdays and 7am on weekends.

If for some reason you would not like to use the app, but instead the website you will have to create an account here: https://rainoutline.com/login

1. Create a new user account (located on the right-hand side of the page)

2. You will then receive an email from Rainoutline.com to verify your email address and activate your account

3. Login into your account and in the SEARCH box type in "PRCS"

4. Select Loudoun County Parks and Recreation and SELECT your Favorites by clicking on the stars

People can receive email or text alerts, but the App is the best way to go.  The app gives the benefit of quickly checking the status whenever you need to know as opposed to alerts that are sent every time the status is updated (which could be more often than you'd like).
