Due to COVID-19, VYI has made the difficult decision to cancel the Fall 2020 Cheer season. This decision is to ensure the safety of our participants and community, and to continue to prevent the spread of this disease. Thank you to all those who already registered, and we hope to see you again instead for the Fall 2021 season. Registration for the Fall 2021 season will open May 1, 2021. General Information on the VYI Cheerleading Program:

This program is open to rising Kindergartners through 8th graders. Please note that these are registration dates are tentative and subject to change.

Vienna Youth Inc. (VYI) Cheerleading is a recreational cheer program and team sport for those wanting to gain basic to intermediate cheerleading skills.  VYI Cheer allows children at all skill and interest levels to experience cheerleading, whether teaching the basics to new cheerleaders or preparing more experienced players for high school cheer.

Our program supports Vienna Youth Football in the Fall season and cheers at VYI home football games. 

Cheerleaders are grouped by age and ability. Athletes will develop proper motion techniques, learn basic stunting, improve jumps and learn sideline chants and cheers.
