- What to expect? We simplify the process for you. Arrive already dressed in your full uniform (home jersey). Check in at the registration table and get your yellow photo card. These will be handed to our assistants to keep it contact free. Parents can move to the photo station exit to wait, while children get in line to be photographed. After photo is taken (takes less than a minute), you are free to go to your game/practice. One of the individual photos taken will be used to create a team photo. This helps with social distancing and is a quicker way to get our team photos. Parents will be notified via email in two weeks that photos are ready. If you have more than one family member in this league, check out info below about siblings. No order forms will be distributed. Everything will be done online and contact free.
- Covid-19 Protocols
Using green screen enables us to have a contact free process. It is quick and efficient and allows for social distancing. We will be doing photos outdoors under a tent /or roofed structure. This allows for better social distancing as well as free air flow. The photography staff will have masks on the entire time as well as having sanitizer available at the photo station. We have pre-registered the families so that you will not need the yellow registration card (Contact free!).
- What do I (athlete) wear/bring?
Wear your uniform (home jersey). Bring your gear as well (bat and glove for all, catchers can bring all their gear). For Covid safety we do not want to share equipment.
- What action do I need to take (as a parent)
- Get your kid to photo day on time wearing their uniform.
- Check in at Registration table.
- Relax and wait for the email saying "your pictures are ready"
- I'm a coach - do I need my picture taken?
Yes, I will be digitally compositing the team picture so I need pictures of the coaches to add to the team photo. You are also welcome to get a picture taken with your child together!
- Both my kids are in this league, can I get a picture of them together?
Yes, we welcome sibling pictures as well as Coach/child pictures. Bring both your kids to the time slot that works best for you amongst your kids' scheduled time. At registration, each kid will get a unique access code on a yellow card. That will be used to track the photos to their correct team. You don't have to let us know ahead of time which time slot you have chosen - we will have everyone's photo cards there.
- Do I have to pre-order?
No pre-order necessary, you will view photos in a private, online gallery before you purchase. No paper order forms either
- How do I order?
Your email has already been registered to allow for contact free process. "Being registered" simply adds you to my notify list so that you are the first to know when photos are ready and posted online. If you have multiple athletes in the league, you will be registered for each one. In two weeks you will get an email saying that the photos are ready. Click the link in the email and it will bring you to the online store. That is where you place your order.
- When will I get the photos?
A link to the digital photo proofs will be emailed by 2 weeks after photo day. You will be able to log in, view photos and decide what you would like to purchase. Orders will be mailed to your house after your order is placed. Time to arrive at house depends on products ordered.
- Can I purchase digital images?
Yes, Individual images can be purchased in digital format; however, team photos are not sold in digital format. Package A includes a digital image or you can purchase a la carte. There is also a discounted price when you buy two digital images.
If you have any questions feel free to email the photographer at
Sincerely,
Danielle Woods

| 2021 NW Board of Directors
Hello North Wake Families!
As the Spring season was ramping up and now in full swing, there was a lot going on behind the scenes, specifically with your NW Board of Directors. First and foremost, our President, Mark Hammel, resigned his post. He invested so much of his time in many different facets of this league for a very long time, shepherding the league through some difficult challenges. We thank him for his service and wish him and his Shockwave team continued success!
Second, another long term Executive Director, Jason Martinez, resigned his post as Secretary. He also provided key guidance and leadership throughout his term and many years serving North Wake Baseball. Thanks for his dedication and service to the league as well!
With those and other changes on the Board, we have added new members, elected new Executives, and are opening a new chapter in the 40+ year history of NWCBA. The Board has grown to 11 current Directors in order to handle and distribute the significant workload. A new President and Secretary were elected. New committees have and are being formed in order to tackle the many needs we have - both near and long term. It is an exciting time as we look to our future!

Letter from the President of NWCBA, Mike Emmert :
I’m humbled and honored to serve as the new President of the NWCBA. I’ve been part of the NWCBA for over 20 years (coaching and commissioning at all age groups and a long-time board member in the 1990’s). I’m a former College baseball player who’s truly passionate about teaching this great game. Both of my sons played in the NWCBA from tee-ball through what used to be known as the greater Raleigh Fall League (18 & Under showcase team). Both of my sons went on to play college baseball. The NWCBA was instrumental in developing their skills and providing them an opportunity to compete at a high level while having fun doing it. It’s our mission to be viewed “as the place to be” for competitive baseball that includes quality instruction with an intense focus on player development. Parents, coaches, commissioners and board members are all key to the long-term success of our league and we sincerely value your contributions.
Letter from the Secretary of NWCBA, Jason Morrow :
My name is Jason Morrow and I’ve lived and worked in Wake Forest since 2011. I am a local entrepreneur and business owner who loves to see things flourish locally. I grew up playing baseball thru high school and played 1 year of division III baseball in college. I have a young son who enjoys the game and nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than walking through the ballpark on a Friday or Saturday night seeing all the joy and enthusiasm. I am volunteering to make sure North Wake County Baseball is around for another 40 years.
