We are one of the largest lacrosse clubs for boys & girls in the Northern Virginia area.

Brigade Field Hockey registration for Spring 2021 is now open for girls in 3rd - 8th grades!

The season will run from April 17-May 22, 2021.  Training Sessions will be on Saturdays from 6:30p-8:00p at Grizzly's Sports Complex (10600 Determination Road, Nokesville, VA). To register, go to our website at http://www.mbyl.org/ and click on the grey REGISTER NOW button on the right side.

Play days may be added if COVID restrictions are eased.

Equipment needed: Pinnie (one will be provided in the 1st session if new to the program), field hockey stick, shin guards, mouth guard, turf shoes, and water bottle

These practices are considered pre-season, please make as many as your family schedule will accommodate, but they are not mandatory.

Team assignments should be finalized by 3/6, the last all-age workout.  Individual team practices should begin the next week, subject to coaching schedules and field availability.  As always, please arrive 15 minutes before practice and adhere to the COVID policy on the Brigade website.

In Fall 2019, the National Association of State High School Federations (NFHS) and US Lacrosse adopted the National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE) ND200, a new standard for lacrosse chest protection.  This new standard took effect for goalie chest protection January 2021, and will be in effect for all field players starting January 2022.

If you have a boys goalie and need support with updated protection for this season, please reach out to or .  

If you are a parent of a field player and they have outgrown their chest/ shoulder pads for this season, you are strongly encouraged to consider shoulder pads that are compliant with the new standard.  Please check out our parent's equipment guide, including links to compliant equipment, located here:  Equipment Guide.
