  • A's Nabs Win Over Mariners
  • Despite Early 4-Run Inning
  • Mariners scored four runs in the first inning, but A's still won 10-5 on Saturday. K.C.Dom, and Liam all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.
  • Mariners took an early lead in the first inning. Liam singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.
  • A's knotted the game up at four in the top of the second inning, when Ian L. singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.
  • After A's scored one run in the top of the sixth, Mariners answered with one of their own. Mariners then answered when Zane S. induced Steven to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.
  • A's took the lead for good with three runs in the third inning. In the third Chloe R. singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run, Zane S. singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run, and J. Six singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
  • Juanluis R. was the winning pitcher for A'sJuanluis R. went three innings, allowing four runs on three hits and striking out four. Zane S. and Sumedh S. entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
  • Matthew took the loss for Mariners. Matthew surrendered seven runs on eight hits over three innings, striking out four.
  • A's had 12 hits in the game. Juanluis R.Chloe R., and Patrick M. all managed multiple hits for A'sPatrick M.Chloe R., and Juanluis R. all had two hits to lead A'sA's was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Chloe R. made the most plays with seven. J. Six led A's with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 19 stolen bases.
  • Mariners stole 12 bases during the game as five players stole more than one. Jason led the way with three.
