Hello Seacoast Gold Lax Parents,
It's hard to believe season is coming to a close. It has been so fun watching these players develop their skills and understanding of the game over the past couple of months. They should all be very proud of themselves. On top of it all, they have been so kind and appreciative to our U10 coaching staff and supportive to one another. They all truly embody what teamwork is all about.
We hope everyone has a great Memorial Day weekend. There will be no lacrosse game Saturday or practice on Monday. We will plan to see everyone next Thursday for our final practice.
Please keep us post if your child will be unable to attend Thursday, 6/1 or Saturday, 6/3.
Have a great weekend!

Hello parents!
Happy Monday! With game 1 under our belts Coach Jess and I are excited to get to practice today and continue working with your players.
With only 2 weeks until school is off for spring break, I wanted to connect with each of you about your break plans. As of right now we have 2 games scheduled. We would like to get a head count to see who will be around for those games.
We have the following games scheduled:
Sat Apr 22 @10:15 V Marshwood White – Game Location: Eliot
Sat Apr 29 @10:15 V Marshwood Purple – Game Location: Eliot
Please respond back to me with your availability for those games by the end of the week.
There may need to be a switch in the schedule if we don’t have enough players and I want to get that information to you all sooner than later.
Thank you!
Coach Steph

Hello Parents of 10U Team Gold!
This is an exciting week for the girls on Team Gold. We have our first game tomorrow against Hampton Red!
Over the past 2 weeks we have focused on fundamentals, refining skills of our seasoned players, and teaching the basics to our newer players. As mentioned in our first email, our goal this season is to build on these skills over the course of the season. The girls have had 2 opportunities to scrimmage the other 10U teams and we could see these skills in action on the field. They all mentioned how much they loved scrimmaging.
For most of the players, tomorrow’s game will continue to be a learning opportunity on rules of the game, movement on the field and getting to know their teammates. It may not be pretty lacrosse (yet), but that's OK. Each player should be getting equal playing time and trying all positions. I know the girls may want to keep score, but we will put most of our focus on the areas they can control like trying their best, hustle, attitude, and supporting teammates.
Some reminders for Saturday:
- Our Game will start at 10:15 @ Community Campus Turf 2. Please arrive at 9:45 for warm up and drills.
- There is a strict no jewelry rule on game days. This includes all necklaces, earrings and rings. Everything must be removed before games. Unfortunately, earrings cannot be taped, they have to be completely removed. This is rule coming down from the officials and they will be checking each girl before the games start. So please double check before you leave home.
- Girls will need their all of their equipment for game day. This includes:
- Stick
- Goggles
- Mouthguard
- Sneakers or cleats
- Water
- Uniform – If your player needs a uniform please contact Jen Wiggin (
) She will get a uniform to you.
- The weather looks to be cold on Saturday. Please make sure your players are dressed in layers under their uniform. Leggings under the skirts and long sleeves or sweatshirts under their jerseys will help. A pair of thin gloves is always a good idea.
Thank you all for allowing Coach Jess and I the opportunity to coach your girls this season. They are all such awesome kids and we are excited for them to experience their first game of the season.
Let us know if you have any questions ahead of Saturday’s game!

Hello to the parents of the Team Gold - Girls 10U Seacoast Lacrosse,
Jess DeNuzzio and I are excited to coach your girls this spring. We have a great group of experienced and new players on the team which is awesome! We both have experience playing Lacrosse and are excited to share the fun and excitement of the game with all of the girls.
We hope you received the email from Seacoast lacrosse about rosters and practice schedules. The game schedules are being finalized and will be posted on the Seacoast Lacrosse site very soon.
As mentioned in the previous emails from Seacoast Lacrosse, we will begin practicing this week. These first 2 practices will be optional light workouts to knock the rust off and get the nerves out for our new players. Today’s weather is turning out to be beautiful so I think it will be be a great day to get everyone on the field for the first time!
Our first OFFICIAL practice will be Mon Apr 3. Our first game will be Sat Apr 8th.
A reminder that our practice schedule is as follows:
Please remember to send your player with their stick, goggles, mouthguard, water bottle, cleats and/or sneakers and dress warmly. The weather will fluctuate throughout practice so make sure to send layers and gloves.
Our goal throughout the season for each player will be to improve on the basic skills of the sport such as cradling, throwing, catching, shooting and ground balls, the rules of the game, movement on the field, and most importantly having fun and cheering each other on so they continue to love the game for years to come.
We are super excited to meet all of you and your daughters!
Go Gold! 🥍
- Jess and Steph
