Housekeeping items:
NHYLA Festival:
Over the weekend on June 10/11 there is the NHYLA festival. This is where every team will get split up into bracketts based on their record over the season. They will play 2 games. We will not know which day and what time we are playing until a few days before, so please just keep that weekend open. This is a fun day with tons of lacrosse!
End of season celebration:
Usually at the end of a season, we like to have a celebration. This can take place in many different forms. We can always bring a table to the NHYLA festival and have food after our games- however, most families are usually ready to take off when the games are done (pending on when our time slots are). Someone can host a dinner again. Or we can go out for ice cream after our Nhyla games. We can also meet up on Monday June 12 at Lagos (or another ice cream place, or have dinner at someones house). Lastly, we can also have a picnic at Pierce Island or another park and all bring food. If we do a picnic or someones house it would be nice to include families as well. Please let me know if there is someone interested in helping organize this. The kids love it and its just a nice way to end the season and start summer.
Thank you so much.
Meg and Kate
