Schedule for May 29-June 4
by posted 05/29/2023

Hi All-

Happy Memorial Day! Hope you and your families have had a great weekend!  The weather has been amazing. I have housekeeping items to write up in this email as well as the schedule.  So please take the time to read through the whole email.

Schedule for the week:

Monday, May 29: No practice- Memorial Day!

Tuesday, May 30: Subs at Jersey Mikes, and Strength Class

Wednesday, May 31: Skills practice at the turf from 5-6pm

Thursday, June 1: Play-offs for PHS Varsity girls at PHS (time TBD). I am planning on watching.

Friday, June 2: Practice at the turf from 5:30-7:00pm

Saturday, June 3: Game against Derry at PHS at 9:00am.  Please have the girls wear the white side of their jerseys and get to the PHS turf at 8:20am.

Sunday, June 4: Game against Manchester at 8:00am (another early morning).  The address is PiscataQuog Park, Precourt St, Manchester, NH 03103.  Please have your girls wear their maroon side of the jersey and be there by 7:30am.  It is about an hour drive.

Housekeeping items:

NHYLA Festival:

Over the weekend on June 10/11 there is the NHYLA festival.  This is where every team will get split up into bracketts based on their record over the season.  They will play 2 games.  We will not know which day and what time we are playing until a few days before, so please just keep that weekend open.  This is a fun day with tons of lacrosse!

End of season celebration:

Usually at the end of a season, we like to have a celebration.  This can take place in many different forms.  We can always bring a table to the NHYLA festival and have food after our games- however, most families are usually ready to take off when the games are done (pending on when our time slots are).  Someone can host a dinner again.  Or we can go out for ice cream after our Nhyla games.  We can also meet up on Monday June 12 at Lagos (or another ice cream place, or have dinner at someones house).  Lastly, we can also have a picnic at Pierce Island or another park and all bring food.  If we do a picnic or someones house it would be nice to include families as well.  Please let me know if there is someone interested in helping organize this.  The kids love it and its just a nice way to end the season and start summer.

Thank you so much.

Schedule for the week of May 22-May 28th

Hi All-

What a great weekend of lacrosse!  I know we lost to Exter but only by 1 goal.  I saw some great stuff in each game.  Defense was doing a great job sliding in both games. Middies and offense did a great job in redefending and actually caused many turnovers against Bedford.  And in todays game it was great to see the offense passing around the 12 meter arc! I tried some kids in different positions and was pleased with what I saw. Below is our schedule for the next week:

Schedule for the week of May 22-28

Monday May 22- Senior night at PHS. Please be there at 5:10pm.

Tuesday May 23- Strength Class (bounce back if time- I see improvement from some kids!)

Wednesday May 24- Stick Skills at the turf from 5-6pm

Thursday May 25- Bounce Back

Friday May 26- Practice at the turf from 5:30-7pm.

Saturday, Sunday, Monday- Off (try and get some stick skills or bounce back time)

See you all tomorrow!!
