Our next game is Saturday at 230 at Medlock Park near Decatur.  Warmups at 130.  Directions:  Druid Hills Medlock Park | DSB | Dunwoody Senior Baseball (leagueathletics.com)  For those who haven’t been there before, it’s about 20 minutes away from our usual field and more likely to rain out since their field is grass and dirt.  They observe stricter Covid rules than at our park, so pls read these before coming:  COVID-19 Guidance | Druid Hills Youth Sports (dhys.org).  They require masks everywhere except on the field.  (Some kids didn’t know we needed to wear masks at Morgan Falls the other night, so please remind them for Sat.)  I know Charlie will miss, but expect all 11 others.  Pls LMK beforehand if you cannot attend or will be late.

Hi everyone, with bad weather coming this week, here’s the plan for the Tuesday and Thursday games.  The league will cancel a game if it’s predicted to be below 40 degrees at gametime or if heavy rain is on the radar.  The commissioner will cancel the game on the website approx 2 hours beforehand, which will trigger automated emails and/or texts.  If there’s no message, then assume we’re playing.  If concerned on Tuesday or Thursday that you haven’t heard anything, check our team page after 3:30pm:  Team Home | DSB | Dunwoody Senior Baseball (leagueathletics.com)

I’m expecting everyone on Tuesday except Landon.  If we play, I’ll be there to start warmups at 415.  I know that not everyone can get there so early, so OK to be a bit late.  Feel free to contact other parents to carpool – our roster with everyone’s contact info is on the team’s homepage.  Please let me know if you will be later than 445.  Game starts at 5pm and I need to give our lineup to the umpires beforehand.  Dress warmly!  Kids have been showing up to practice in short sleeves and short pants in 45 degree weather.  OK to put your Reds shirt on over a sweatshirt.
