Thank you for your patience....While we are still awaiting the final game schedule for Sunday, the time slots preveiously communicated will not change.

Our 1st / 2nd and 3rd / 4th grade teams are in the Morning Session : 8:00-11:00am

Our 5th/6th and 7th/8th  grade teams are in the Mid-Day Session : 11:00-2:00pm.

There are a lot of moving parts with several teams having to pull out due to COVID issues.  The Tournament Directors are hoping to have the schedule posted later today.  Once finalized, it will be posted in the TOURNEY MACHINE APP.  If you don't have it, you can download on the Apple or Android App Stores.   https://tourneymachine.com/Login.aspx

FYL will have two tents set up but we encourage anyone who has one to feel free to bring

- please start extra-hydrating today.  Extra water, fruits, and electrolytes (liquid IV, coconut water, gatorade)

- we highly recommend; sun block, cooling towels, portable fans, a tent to bring to the sidelines and chairs.

- Drinks/food to share; cooler of cold drinks, cut up fruit, granola bars, etc

Rogers Field at Devens is 40 minutes from Framingham Center. There are multiple parking lots. Please leave extra time for parking and walking.  There will be 25 lacrosse fields set up for play as well as Music and Vendors selling apparel, food and beverages.

I will be arriving very early to set up tents and claim some space for FYL.  I will utilize our regular SSU Play app to notify teams of our meeting hub location once we are set.  Look for two Blue Tents and a FYL Sign (if we can find).  A link to the Field Map is here:  http://www.leagueathletics.com/Page.asp?n=122169&org=FGLL%2EORG

I think this will be my 11th Jamboree.....the vast majority have either been 90+ degrees or cold and rainy.  However, it is ALWAYS A FUN DAY!!!  We look forward to seeing everyone who can make it.

FGLL- Jamboree - clarification
by posted 05/16/2022

Just at quick clarification on Sunday's Jamboree:

All Framingham Teams are playing on SUNDAY.  Because the Jamboree is a two day event, the league has put place savers (for both days) in the schedule which is why it appears on our FYL schedule as Sat and Sun.  There is nothing we can do about this at the Framingham level.

Framingham is only playing on Sunday.

For those of you who have not participated in a Jamboree, it is a great day of lacrosse with  (3) 30 minute games.  There is music, food vendors, apparel vendors, and lots of activity.  Framingham will have a tent or two set up in the tailgaters village and we encourage all teams to bring snacks/beverages and hang out with our other teams in between games.

To make numbers work, we have reduced the number of teams we are entering and will formulate teams based on RSVP.  We encourage all players who are available, to come play.  Some of our teams are light on numbers and it would be a shame to deprive the girls who want to play because we don’t have enough.  All of our coaches have requested responsesIt is too difficult to track through the chat function of the app and there is no RSVP functionality on the schedule, so please make sure to e-mail your coach directly with your availability.

Morning Session:   8:00-11:00

1/2 – 1 Team

3/4 – 2 Teams

Mid-Day Session:  . 11:00-2:00

5/6 – 1 Team

7/8- 1 Team

Any questions can be directed to your coach or to me.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

5/6 Girls' games tomorrow

5/6 GIRLS-  BOTH TEAMS

Our numbers are light for tomorrow's games, especially the WHITE team at 2:00pm with only 9 confirmed players.  We desperately need players to double up.  White (2:00pm) and Blue(3:15) are back to back at Leary Field in Acton.  It would be great if players could double up.

PLEASE REACH OUT TO YOUR COACHES ASAP if you are available to help.

On weeks like this when numbers are light, it puts us in a tought spot.  PEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!!!
