a select national club travel program for girls.

The Lakers Select girl's lacrosse program was, first, established in 2007 as the first girl's lacrosse elite travel club program in Minnesota. We are now expanding to offer training and development programs in other states to help positively influence more girls in the sport. The Lakers Select program provides players with premier training to advance their lacrosse skills and develop positive leadership.  Our coaches are dedicated to helping all of our players have future opportunities in the sport.

Through the Lakers Select Lacrosse Academy for Training & Development we partner, collaborate with other lacrosse organizations, and sponsor training opportunities to help support the growth of the sport for all girls through clinics, camps and tournaments.

In our premier Lakers Select Club Program we offer competitive local, regional, national and international training and recruiting opportunities for players who wish to further advance their game and play collegiate level lacrosse.  Our selected students-athletes:

• compete at the highest level with advanced skills and knowledge;  
• work hard to further develop in sport performance;
• play with integrity and sportsmanship;
• strive for excellence; and
• influence others positively through the power of teamwork.

Lakers Select players - for the past 10 years -have been playing for 14 NCAA DI, 10 DII and 12 DIII institutions as well as competing on top WCLA club teams at 12 different colleges and universities.   Some of our most recent graduates can be found on the current rosters at:  Princeton, Lehigh, Marquette, George Washington, Notre Dame, Louisville, Villanova, University of Tampa, Regis, Fort Lewis, Lindenwood, East Stroudsburg, Tiffin, Denison, Augsburg, Augustana, Central Michigan and more!

Our goal in our club program is to help our student-athletes find the best fit for them, their families and the college coaches.  And, we celebrate each and every decision, commitment, and choice! College coaches know that when they get a Laker, they are getting a highly trained lacrosse player who will be a leader on and off of the field.
