Mercer Winter Lacrosse Clinics @ Mercer

Mercer Men's Lacrosse is hosting a Winter Lacrosse Clinic Series in Macon, GA on Sundays starting February 9th.

The clinics are intended for boys from 2nd-10th grade (beginner to advanced skill level). Clinics are $35 each and go from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in Macon, GA.

Henry Lacrosse will be offering the following Free Lacrosse Clinic:
 
GIRLS AND BOY'S CLINIC DAY – SATURDAY, January 18, 2019 at J.P. Moseley Park

Grades 1-HS Girls and and Grades 1-8 Boys - 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
High School Boys - 11:00 pm to 12:00 pm
 
The clinics are for new, past and current players. The clinic will cover basic lacrosse skills and introduction into the game. 
 
Lacrosse Sticks will be available for new players wanting to try the sport.  
 
Henry Lacrosse is currently registering for the Spring 2020 Season.
 
All players need to be registered by January 21.

December 1, 2019 - Registration Opens

December 21, 2019 - Mercer U. Boys Day Clinic

January 18, 2020 - Henry Lacrosse Clinic

January 21, 2020 - First Registration ends.  Team and Jersey Numbers assigned, Uniforms ordered.  All players registered by this date will have uniforms by the first game.

January 22, 2020 - Late Registration begins

February 1, 2020 - Practices Start

February 29, 2020 - Games Start

2020 SPRING LACROSSE INFORMATION

Henry Lacrosse will be offering the following programs for the Spring 2020 Season. Each team will have two weekday practices and a weekend game. The practices and Games will be at J.P. Mosley Park on Millers Mill Road. Each team should have 8 games, 4 home games and 4 away games in the greater Atlanta Area. The season will run from the beginning of February to May. Registration will begin December 1 and will continue until teams are full.

Below are the age groups and registration cost:

Grades 1-2 8U Boys/Girls – Cost $175.00 - The players will receive subliminated reversible Jersey and Black Short Uniform. The teams will play in the MAYLA league.

Grades 3-4 10U Boys – Cost $185.00 The players will receive subliminated reversible Jersey and Black Short Uniform.  The teams will play in the MAYLA league.

Grades 5-6 12U Boys – Cost $185.00 - The players will receive subliminated reversible Jersey and Black Short Uniform.  The teams will play in the MAYLA league.

Grades 5-8 12/14U Girls – Cost $185.00 - The players will receive subliminated reversible Jersey and Black Short Uniform.  The teams will play in the MAYLA league.

Grades 7-8 14U Boys – Cost $185.00 - The players will receive subliminated reversible Jersey and Black Short Uniform.  The teams will play in the MAYLA league.

High School Boys – Cost $135.00 - The players will receive subliminated reversible Jersey. The team will play in an in county High School League.

Players are responsible for providing their own equipment. Girl's equipment includes eye goggles, a lacrosse stick, and a mouth guard. Boy's equipment includes a helmet, shoulder pads, arm guards, gloves, stick, and mouth guard. 

All players need to be US Lacrosse Members for insurance at a cost of $30.00 per year.

Helmet and Equipment Policy

All players are required to wear their Helmet and protective equipment as they enter the playing field before, during, and after, all games and practices, until they leave the playing field.

Henry Lacrosse Concussion Policy

Henry Lacrosse Association concussion policy is as follows:

Any youth athlete who participates in youth athletics and exhibits signs of a concussion must be removed from the game, practice, competition or tryout and be evaluated by a healthcare provider.

Any youth athlete who is deemed by a health care as sustaining a concussion shall not be permitted to return to play until he/she receives clearance from a health care provider for a full or graduated return to play.

Henry Lacrosse US Lacrosse Guideline

Henry Lacrosse Association mandates that every player and coach (at least head coach and assistant coach), and every official, is a current US Lacrosse member and that their membership is effective through the entire season.  The US Lacrosse Membership provides player, coach, official, and association insurance, monthly magazine, and lacrosse discounts.  The US Lacrosse Membership provides coaches with free online training.
