Thank you for your interest in the SLAP. Please scroll through the below to find the session that you would like to register for and click the green 'register' button at the end of the program description.  Please e-mail eiznof@gmail.com with any questions.

Fees:No player has ever been turned away from playing SLAP because of cost. If you are truly in a situation where you can't afford the club dues, please contact the Club Director. This information stays confidential.


 


USAWP Insurance: This is required for all athletes. 

In order to play with SLAP every player MUST be a member of USA Water Polo and sign the Covid 19 waiver.  This is separate from SLAP and SLAP fees.  The level of membership depends on whether or not the athlete plans on playing additional tournaments throughout the season. See below for details.

 

 
  • Gold: "Elite" athlete membership; eligible for ALL USAWP athlete activity, including club practices, sanctioned events, National Championship Events (i.e. Junior Olympics) and all Olympic Development Program (ODP) participation including Zone Teams and ODP National Championships.

 

  • Silver: "Enhanced" athlete membership; eligible for club practices, local and regional sanctioned leagues and tournaments, and ODP Camps only (excluding Holiday Camp). Not eligible for participation in National Championship events (i.e. Junior Olympics, ODP Zone Team or Holiday Camp). Eligible to upgrade membership within current membership year only.

 

  • Bronze: "Basic" athlete membership; eligible for club practices, local/regional league play, regional camps, and some local sanctioned tournaments. Not eligible for participation in National Championship events (i.e Junior Olympics), ODP trainings (if the player makes the team) and the ODP Championships, and some sanctioned tournaments. Eligible to upgrade membership within current membership year only.

 

  • Splashball Passholder: The Splashball™ Pass Holder Program is an entry-level or junior membership for first time or recreational water polo athletes aged 5-11. This program is for first-time young athletes who have not been USAWP Bronze, Silver or Gold members in the past. The Splashball™ Pass Holder Program comes with limited USA Water Polo Membership Benefits. The Splashball™ Pass Holder Program is designed for Splashball™ practice or Splashball™ clinic participation only. (Some Splashball™ clinics may require an additional fee to participate) Athletes or teams wishing to be on a roster for age group sanctioned events and tournaments are not eligible for the Pass Holder Program. Participants playing in sanctioned events and tournaments must be Bronze, Silver, or Gold athlete members.  The Splashball™ Pass Holder Program requires National Office approval before your registration is activated. After you complete registration please allow 1-2 business days for activation. All Pass Holder memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable after the time of purchase. Splashball™ Pass Holders are eligible to upgrade their membership to Bronze, Silver or Gold athlete. So, what does this mean? New members to USA Water Polo signing up for Splashball should register under the Splashball pasholder membership.  For athletes in grades 5-12, if the athlete just wants to practice and play in the summer and in the winter league or attend the 5-Meter Camps, go Bronze.  If they plan to travel with SLAP to any regional tournaments (Florida International, KAP 7 Atlanta Cup, Great Lakes Classic) or attend the ODP camps they should go Silver.  If the athletes plans to participate in JO's and are actively trying out for a spot on an ODP team; then need register for the Gold level.

SLAP Junior Team Summer Session

SLAP 2023 Junior TeamSummer Session

Participants: Open to any player entering 11th-12th grade fall of 2023 as well as 2023 graduates.

Dates

  June 5th - July 25th

  No practice July 4th

Training Days/Times

    Monday-Friday  6:00 am- 8:00 am @ John Burroughs (June 5th-July 27th)

    Players will have the option to register for the Summer League 

 

 

 
 

Cost

 $550 plus 2023 USA Water Polo Membership (paid separately).  See below for details concerning USWP Membership including Covid 19 Waiver.
