Mastering Math Skills with Mrs. Marske (3rd Grade)

Select from the following options:

Session I:     Jun 23, 24, 23, 25 (T,W,TH) - This week is currently Full.

Session II:    Jul 14, 15, 16 (T,W,TH) - This week is closed for registration.

Session III:  Aug 4, 5, 6 (T,W,TH)

3 Classes per session

9:00 - 10:00 am

Small group virtual math sessions to review and strengthen math skills and concepts over the summer for incoming 3rd grade students focusing on place value, addition, subtraction, and geometry. Children can be signed up for individual weeks or all three weeks for a discounted fee.

All lessons will be held via zoom and zoom codes will be sent to parent's emails prior to the start of class.

Students will need the following items for class:

Scratch paper/loose leaf paper

Pencil & eraser

Base Cost: $30.00

In Grade: 3 for 2020-21 School year

All lessons will be held via zoom and zoom codes will be sent to parent's emails prior to the start of class.

Students will need the following items for class:

Coding - Create Your Own Video Game with Ms. Wenzel (Grades 4 - 8)

New!  Added due to WL on first coding class!

Jul 20 - 22

3 classes

9:00 - 11:00 am

Learn how to create a simple video game using coding in three short lessons using Scratch software.  Students will learn important strategies for solving problems, designing projects, and communicating these ideas.  Class is designed for very small group interaction so students can work together to collaborate on projects.

Take home challenges will be presented each week as well and all students will receive custom log in information that will be shared with parents.

All lessons will be held via zoom and zoom codes will be sent to parent's emails prior to the start of class.  The program does require a child to stay focused and work independently so please consider this when enrolling your child.  

Students will need to bring the following supplies to class each week: 

Pencil and paper

Water and healthy snack

Program operates only on a laptop or desktop computer
