Welcome to Roosevelt Roughriders Lacrosse Club.

Here is a quick summary about the Roosevelt Roughriders Lacrosse Club:

ASB Club Sport: As a club sport at RHS, the Roosevelt Roughriders Lacrosse Club is funded and managed by RHS LAX families and supporters. Any Roosevelt boy or private high school player who lives in the Roosevelt area and is interested in playing lacrosse is welcome and can expect to play for the club. We anticipate fielding a Varsity and a JV squad in 2020.

Management by Volunteers: Roosevelt Roughriders Lacrosse is run completely by you: the families, friends and players. All communication is conducted through this web site and the League Athletics Mobile App. Please make sure to visit this site to receive information about practices, games, events, volunteer needs and all relevant club information.

Spring Sport: Official practices begin on February 24, 2020 and the season runs through May 31, 2020.  The 2 – 2 ½ hr practices are Monday – Friday (some Saturdays) and will likely be at Lower Woodland field #7 (near Greenlake) as well as a few other locations (TBD).

Fall & Winter Lacrosse: Off season Roosevelt Lacrosse participates in the I-90 Fall Indoor League and sanctioned winter practices in November with winter practices culminating in the Space Needle Shootout in December.

League Assignment: RHS LAX is playing Division 2 Metro League. The Washington High School Boys Lacrosse Association is the governing organization. Our competitors include: Seattle Academy, Overlake, Franklin, Garfield, Nathan Hale and West Seattle.

Scrimmages: Preseason scrimmages will be scheduled along with Captains’ Practices (hosted by team captains) until official practice begins February 24, 2020.

Refund Policy: All registrations are Final Sales. No Refunds will be given after player is registered.
