My my My my

As I write this column, I am in the middle of planning our 11th recreational softball season together. After putting in 10 years, it seems logical to reflect on where we have come, what we have did well and what we have not done so well. At the same time, we should be taking that information and crafting a plan that keeps us a viable and effective organization for the next 10 years.

When I first came to the organization, we were facing several challenges and both the softball world and our organization was much different than what it is today. We addressed the challenges we faced than only to reveal new and different challenges that we must face in the future.

That’s where you come in.

We want the stakeholders of our organization to help chart our future.

A retreat has been scheduled for Sunday, April 15 at 8:30 AM until 2:30 PM. During the retreat, you will hear about the successes and the failures of the last 10 years. You will hear about the challenges we face in the future. And you will have an opportunity to debate and discuss opportunities that will guide the organization in the future.

The retreat will be held at the White Rose Room at Peoples Bank Stadium, home of the York Revolution and will include a working lunch.

So that we can properly prepare material for the retreat, pre-registration is required.

Please use the registration program to indicate your willingness and desire to participate in the retreat.
