WPAL SPRING 2023 TRACK & FITNESS
Open to Boys and Girls | Grades 2-8 | Season starts March 20, 2023
All athletic levels are welcome!
The track program will focus on the fundamentals of fitness and strength.
Training in all areas of the sport to build endurance, and increase agility, flexibility, power, and speed.
Our goal is to provide each athlete an opportunity for personal achievement, great training, and sportsmanship basics.
Coach Jesse McCray our Program Director and Head Coach,
is the Head Coach for the Staples High School Girls Track and Field.
Spring Program Details | March 20, 2023, through May 25, 2023
The Spring program offers specialized workouts.
Mondays will specialize in General Fitness (G) | Wednesdays will focus on Sprints and Jumps (S)
Thursdays will focus on Distance (D)
All athletes should attend the General Fitness workout and then choose the Sprints/Jumps or Distance session.

April 3 (G), 5 (S), April 10-15th Spring Break, 17(G), 19(S), 20(D), 24(G), 26(S), 27(D)
May 1(G), 3(S), 4(D), 8(G), 10(S), 11(D), 15(G), 17(S), 18(D), 22(G), 24(S), 25(D)

Conflicts with SHS varsity programming may cause a change in the schedule.

All registered athletes are required to submit a medical form prior to participating in a PAL sports program.
Submit the form to the Program Coach. Athletes without a completed medical form will not be allowed to participate.
