Dear Friends and Fans of FAU Hockey,
The Florida Atlantic University Ice Hockey Club was established in order to provide the opportunity for FAU students to play competitive ice hockey at a very high level while pursuing their degree at FAU.
Our team and organization consists of FAU students comprising an Executive Board consisting of club members, student volunteers, and an all volunteer group of coaches and professionals from the South Florida area.
We as a team have made tremendous strides since I took over as Head Coach in June 2006. Since that time, the Owls amassed a respectable record of 19 - 19 playing against the best opponents available. Our team regularly competes against teams like the Florida Gulf Coast University Eagles, the University of Central Florida Knights, and the USF Bulls just to name a few. We also travel to tournaments and have played and won against the University of Cincinnati, the University of Louisiana Lafayette and Middle Tennessee State University.
As you can imagine, putting a team on the ice like this is no easy feat. It takes time, effort, and money. Our organization provides this opportunity through player's fees, ticket sales, donations and sponsorships.
To keep this program growing, we need your support. Please consider donating the gift of your time, or a gift of financial support for the team.
