More About the Challenger League

Central Amherst Little League is proud to offer a Little League-chartered Challenger Division. Central Amherst started its Challenger Division in 1991, just two years after Little League introduced the program. The Challenger Division is Little League's adaptive baseball programs for kids and adults with physical and developmental challenges. 

Central Amherst's Challenger League plays by a game rulebook provided by Little League and participants are assisted by volunpeers in batting, baserunning, and defense, but only as needed. The league includes both competitive and recreational divisions.

The Challenger League plays games on Sundays (from May through July) at the Central Amherst complex fields at 480 Wehrle Drive in Amherst.
