WYSC Pre-Academy Fall and Winter Training Program
The goal of the Pre-Academy Program is to provide extra training to those recreational players looking to transition from recreational soccer to our Club's Academy Program as well as players simple looking to improve on their soccer skills.
Each season will include 8 to 10 Saturday afternoon practices. The Pre-Academy Program will be run by WYSC's professional coaching staff, Juan Garcia. The fee for the fall season will be $125 and the winter season will be $175.
The Pre-Academy Program will look to help each player develop a solid foundation, one that focuses on improving the player's technical ability with the ball, and also puts a big focus on individual foot skills and creativity.
The program will consist of a 1.5 hour training session on Saturday afternoon, and is available for age groups U8, U10, & U12.
The Fall season runs through September 7,2013 to October 26,2013. Training will be at the Athey fields
The Winter season runs through January 4,2014 to February 22,2014. Training will be at the Boys and Girls Club in Warrenton.

WYSC is proud to announce the Fall 2013 Session of the WYSC Travel Goalkeeping Academy. The training will start September 7 and run through November 2nd. We are excited to introduce our new partnership with the Just 4 Keepers Goalkeeper Academy for the upcoming season. "Just 4 Keepers" will provide our goalkeepers quality training throughout the year as well as game day assistance. Director Larry Dolph will be in charge of leading our goalkeeper program and be a experienced resource for our keepers. In addition players will receive individual evaluations at the end of the program. |
All travel goalkeepers are highly encouraged to attend these sessions in addition to their team training. We will have options for Recreational Players interested in Goalie Training starting in the Winter & Spring Season!

Description: Camp days are designed to promote learning of techniques and skills focusing on the individual player. A typical day will include mass games, structured practices, scrimmages, and our World Cup Tournament to end each day.

U.K. Elite Petite Spring Soccer Camps help to increase early physical and emotional development with 3 - 5 year old children. The fun, healthy and exciting world of soccer can now be part of their active lifestyle. Each day is structured to promote individualized learning through the medium of fun soccer related games and activities.

Goalie Camp

Fee - $60.00
Description: Focus on developing Goalkeeping Techniques. Footwork and angles, as well as catching and handling will all be focused on and developed. Discovering and recognizing the best stance and positioning for different soccer scenarios when in a showdown with a striker. Distribution will also be a key element when developing the all round game of the new modern soccer keeper. This clinic is focus for all age groups from U11 to U14/Boys or Girls.

Description: Discover, develop and understand what is needed to become a dependable Number 9. This camp will provide you with the basics to understanding the role of a striker and the art of scoring and creating goals for yourself and your team. It will focus on receiving the ball, facing and with your back to goal, as well as attacking through balls and crosses. You will also develop a killer eye for goal and the confidence to finish when called upon.

Foot Skills

Description: Learn to manipulate the ball with both feet and every single surface. You will be introduced to moves such as the Step over, Scissors, Double Scissors, Fake, Stop and go plus many more. You will also learn when and where is the ideal situation to beat your defenders as well as understanding the fundamentals and decision making process of each and every move. Will focus on 1v1 and 2v2 situations to get the best out of every player.

Winter Soccer Clinics
This winter, Warrenton Youth Sports Club is teaming up with UK Elite to offer soccer clinics for players ages 3-13.
Scheduled for Saturday mornings from No
vember 3 to February 23, we're offering a different age
group and time each month. These sessions are designed to provide quality player training for
recreational players looking to improve their soccer skills.

first serve basis, so please register today if you'd like to participate:
Register for one of the winter clinics to receive a $15.00 off the player Spring 2013 recreational registration.
Please note the $15.00 is only valid for the player attending the clinics, who is also registered for spring 2013. Discount is not transferable to siblings or friends, or cumulative. Meaning only one $15.00 discount per player spring 2013 registration.
Each Clinic participant in the age group of 3-7 will receive a WYSC jersey and those in the age group of 8-13 will receive a free T-Shirt.
