GMBL Mission Statement:
The Greater Manassas Baseball League is a volunteer organization serving the youth of the Cities of Manassas, Manassas Park, and Prince William County. With the support of our community, coaches, and parents, our goal is to build confidence, citizenship, and positive character in our youth. We strive to accomplish these goals by educating and instructing the youth within our community in sportsmanship and the fundamentals of baseball and softball. By providing both a recreational and competitive environment for the beginner through advanced athlete, the Greater Manassas Baseball League hopes to assist each player reach their full potential.
GMBL Baseball Divisions:
GMBL is a Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken sanctioned baseball league. We offer baseball to boys/girls ages 4-18 years of age. The Cal Ripken Divisions include Blastball (4 yr olds), T-Ball (5-6 yr olds), Rookies (7-8 yr olds pitching machine), Minor A (9 yr old kid pitch), Minor AA (10 yr old kid pitch), and Majors (11-12 yr old kid pitch). The Babe Ruth Divisions include Babe Ruth (13-15 yr old) and Senior Babe Ruth (16-18 yr olds).
GMBL Softball Divisions:
GMBL is a Babe Ruth sanctioned fastpitch softball league. We offer softball to girls ages 6-18. The Babe Ruth Divisions include 8u (machine pitch), 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u and 18u.
GMBL Seasons:
GMBL has both a Spring and Fall Season. Registration for Spring typically runs from Dec-Mar annually online with practices starting mid to late March and games commencing in mid-April through June Registration for the Fall season typically runs June-Aug annually online with practices starting late August and games commencing the first week of school through the end of October. We are looking to offer Summer Clinics and if available registration will be opened online.
