Player evaluations are done to try to achieve a competitive balance throughout the league. All registered players with accounts in good standing who are not on a wait list will make a team. The Intermediate division is the only try-out based division and for those players not selected spots are held for them in Juniors and/or Majors depending on age.
Player evaluations for all divisions except Intermediate will be on Saturday, March 7th, 2020 from 9am - 2pm at the Peak to Peak High School at 800 Merlin Dr, Lafayette, CO 80026.
Player evaluations for Intermediate division will be on Thursday March 5th, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Evolutions Training Center in Longmont at the corner of Boston Avenue and South Bowen Street.
All players must attend evaluations in preparation for the player draft. Please, NO CLEATS as tryouts are inside.
To keep line waits at a minimum, it is important that players attend their scheduled evaluation time below. When you arrive, check your child in at the table to receive an evaluation number.
||Player Last Name Begins With

If you cannot attend your designated time slot, you can come during another time slot for your division.
If you cannot attend any time for your division, come for any division time (Note that coaches may not be present but a league official will be present at all times to do scoring).
If you cannot attend evaluations due to a conflict, the following rules apply:
- If the player agent has an evaluation score from the previous year, it will be designated as such and used for draft purposes.
- If there is no previous score, the player will be assigned to a team randomly by the player agent.
- If there are a significant number of players who miss evaluations and don't have scores from the previous year, a make-up date may be schedule but is unlikely.
- Note that Intermdiate is a try-out only division so if you cannot make the tryout please contact the league to make other arrangements
For evaluations a player will evaluate in the area designated for their division. Instead of 5 evaluation stations with 5 separate wait times, a player will perform all of their skill tests at once when it is their turn to take the field. Once the skill tests have been completed, the players evaluation is complete. Coaches from the division will be present to evaluate players and use this information for the draft in Minors, Majors, Intermediate, and Juniors. All players will be selected to a team. Rookies players are evaluated by a CCLL Board member and assigned to teams.
All players must attend evaluations. Dress for baseball and bring your glove. If we are inside, cleats cannot be worn. Bats and batting helmets will be provided if you do not bring them.
It is highly recommend that all coaches attend evaluations as well.
