LIMITED SPACE:  Registration will be limited to the first 28 Senior Boys and first 28 Junior Boys (14 per team).  All Players registered thereafter will be placed on a waitlist in the event of cancellation by players and/or injuries.  It is the intention of the In-House Program to provide Winter Lacrosse Opportunities for players who are not playing in one of the other Winter programs.  We ask that Players who will be playing in the East Windsor Bubble or other Bubble leagues NOT sign up for the In-House Clinic at this time and instead allow new players an opportunity to play.
GOAL OF IN-HOUSE:  With more and more GLC members playing close to year round, the GLC is looking to offer more convenient opportunities for all our players.  With Spring becoming more and more intense, we have formed an In-House Winter League to give more of our players the opportunity to improve their skills in the off-season but mostly to just HAVE FUN playing games against their friends right here in Glastonbury.

In addition to the GLC In-House League, there are a number of other opportunities for interested players to participate in indoor lacrosse leagues this winter.  None of these other indoor programs are GLC sponsored and any teams or players are not under the control of the GLC. The GLC encourages any interested players to contact these facilities and form their own teams with their friends as a great way to improve in the off-season.  GLC does not endorse any one program over the other as any chance to play with your friends is a great thing.  Two of the leagues are newer – Star Hill and Advanced Sports Plex – and the Sportsworld has been a long-standing league.  All of these offer 7 v 7 games (6 field players and a goalie) against other town teams.  All leagues have adult referees and games are approximately 50 minutes.

1.            Star Hill Athletic Center - Tolland, CT

This is a new state of the art facility in Tolland that hosts indoor 7 v 7 leagues and is connected to a full family athletic center with pool and weight facility.  Since they began leagues two winters ago, Glastonbury players have formed teams on their own with their friends.  Star Hill will even provide a coach for the team if your group is in need of a coach.  League begins early December.
2.            Advanced Sports Plex – Middletown, CT

This is a brand new facility just over the Cromwell line in Middletown.  It is the site of the GLC A Tryouts this coming December.  They are forming leagues now as Session 1 runs from October 27th to late December.  Session 2 will run thereafter, usually starting in early January.
3.            SPORTWORLD – “The Bubble” - East Windsor, CT

Many players from Glastonbury have participated in the 7 v 7 Winter Leagues at the Bubble for years.  As with the other leagues, these teams are typically formed by friends and teammates pulled together by one or more of the players parents and/or coaches.  Traditionally, the competition at the Bubble is rather strong and this would be recommended more for A level players.
