Sandwich Youth Lacrosse Facts

- Started in 1994 for boys and girls in Sandwich
- Volunteer Organization
- 501(c)3 Non-Profit Corporation
- Member of US Lacrosse
- 200+ kids from K through 8th grade
- Feeder Program for the High School teams: Freshmen, JV and Varsity
Our Leagues
- Boys- Crossroad Township League (CTL)
- Girls- Massachusetts Youth Lacrosse (MYL)
- Travel programs play 7 or 8 games per season
- Girls and Boy's season typically ends with an all-day Jamboree event
- Travel rosters will be finalized after the first week of practice
- We cannot place kids on specific teams because of friendships or carpooling

- One or two Practices per week typically start around the middle to end of March
- The first game is typically at the end of March or the beginning of April

- U7 Boys/Girls practice for seven sessions on Saturdays
- Instruction only/no games
- Girls and boys play together
- Soft "pinkie" balls/no contact

Expectations
- Attendance
- Good communication from both sides
- We expect a commitment from players and families
- We understand that children are playing multiple sports
- Practices and Games
- Timely pick up and drop off at the field
- Come early if the weather changes or it gets dark
- Cancelations- you will hear from us through email
- Keep contact info up-to-date on our website
- Dress appropriately for early season practices
- Always come with sufficient water for practices and games
