DATES & TIMES:
Sunday late afternoons from 4-6pm June 7 - August.

FORMAT: Sunday game typically lasts 2 hours long. Longer if more players show up. We typcally have between 30-40 players show up and divide them into two equal teams for the day. Emphasis is placed on basic individual lacrosse skills and teamwork without the body checking and bruised bodies normally associated with the game. In it's fifth summer the Recreational Summer League also allows dads to play with their sons and college and high school coaches to play with their former and present players.

RULES: The older experienced players work with the new guys and coach them during the games. For a full description of the rules of lacrosse visit www.laxrules.com Players are expected to call their own technical and personal and fouls as there are no officials. All player changes are on the fly and there is no rough play or body checking allowed.

WHO'S IT FOR:
This summer league is ideal for beginners, and older experienced players looking for a less competitive but still spirited lacrosse experience. The recreation style league is open to college, high school and older players and is especially geared towards the older players who still want to play without the contact.

COST: $65 includes 12 plus games and a Lax Loon jersey. You must have a Lax Loons jersey to play.
