Fall 2009 Programs for Baseball & Softball

Recreational Baseball Grades 1-2: Our new program for Grades 1-2 will run once a week on Saturdays 9/12, 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, and one Sunday 9/20 (to allow for the Jewish holiday on Saturday). All games will be at 2:30pm at Bridgewater fields, .
Recreational Baseball Grades 3-9 This program runs mostly at Prince Rodgers fields, but also includes some play in Hillsborough. It is open to players from out-of-town. This year we have added standings, playoffs and championships. Games are once during the week and every Saturday.
Competitive Baseball: This program is open to TOWN TEAMS in age groups 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U (Pony), 14U/15U and 16-18U. 11/12U are played on 50/70 fields. Players can also enter indiviually at the 13U-18U level, and will be placed on teams. Games will be played at Bridgewater and Hillsborough fields. This year we have added standings, playoffs and championships. This competitive league is only open to A/B level teams and players.
Recreational Softball: For those players not involved in Fall Tournament play, the Rec Softball program will include clinics and games at Bridgewater's North Bridge Fields. See the Fall Softball page for more information. This program is open to players from out-of-town, but players will be entered in a draft, there are no team entries.
Softball Clinics: We will hold instructional clinics for Softball players and coaches on Monday evenings in September and October free of charge. It is designed to introduce new players to the game, improve skills of current players, and will also be designed to help coaches improve their skills and knowledge of the game. Clinics will be free of charge to all Bridgewater-Raritan residents, and to those already registered for Fall Softball.
Competitive Softball: Bridgewater's Softball Summer Tournament teams will make their own determinations about Fall competitive leagues and tournaments. Girls or teams not playing on a Fall competitive team are welcome to join the Rec Softball program, but cannot play Rec Softball if they are also scheduled for league or tournament play. Questions about plans for Fall Tournament play should be directed to your current team manager.
