Group Lessons
Mark Hellenack - I have over 25 years of coaching experience and a reasonably good record at Saint John's University (70-23) with four UMLL division II titles, three trips to Nationals and two 2nd place finishes. At Hopkins High School I had similar success winning two state Championships in 98 & 99. I would be happy to work with your team (boys Youth, Fr/So, JV and Varsity) on any defensive or offensive concepts and you let me know what you can afford. I am available all year long, but less in the spring as I officiate almost every week night April-mid May.
Individual Lessons
Dan Forsyth - 22 year old Sr Midfielder at C.W. Post University on Long Island (Armstrong HS grad)
I am beginning individual lessons July 28-August 29.
I have division 1 as well as division 2 experience. I have been coaching lacrosse for 8 years. I would like to provide individual lessons for lacrosse players of any age and skill level.
COST: The Rates are
1 on 1 $40 per hour
2 boys $35 per hour
3 boys $30 per hour
4 boys $25 per hour
This price significantly cheaper than Northstar Lacrosse. Not to mention none of Northstar's lacrosse instructors have any division I, II or III experience.
TIMES & DATES: I can be very flexible with the times and days of the week. I will try my best to find a field near you.
WHAT WILL BE COVERED: Players will learn:
-fundamentals of shooting
-fundamentals of passing
-offensive strategy
-defensive strategy (proper positioning etc.)
If a laxer wants to learn something specifically I can change my practice plan.
I will also teach them drills that they can do on their own time that will help improve their skills.
