This season, Warrenton Youth Sports Club is offering skills development training sessions hosted by WYSC's technical staff. WYSC's technical staff provides trainers who are experienced with working with players in the U8/U10 age group.  

Our Youth Development Program is scheduled for Monday evenings from September 7th to October 19. These sessions are designed to provide quality player  training for U8/U10 recreational players looking to improve their soccer skills or make the next step into the travel program. 

Each session, which lasts 75 minutes, is limited to 20 players. Sessions will consist of 55 minutes of individual ball work, passing/possession and will end with 20 minutes of small sided games. These session will fill on a first come first serve basis, so please register today if you'd like to participate:

What is the Youth Development Program?

WYSC’s Youth Development program is intended for players currently playing recreational soccer who want more structured training to improve their overall soccer skills.

Who is Coaching the Youth Development Program?

The U8/U10 youth development program is coached by WYSC's technical staff. WYSC's technical staff are  certified trainers who specialize in youth training.   
Who Should Participate?

Youth Development training is intended for recreational players in the U8/U10 age group who are interested in improving their soccer skills. Activities will be designed to help players strengthen their technique in a variety of essential skills including dribbling, passing/possession and shooting. Each training session will be followed by small sided games.                  

How Many Practices and Games are Included?

The Youth Development program includes six 75 minutes session, starting September 7st, 2015 and last session is scheduled for October 12th, 2015. A rain make up date will be October 19, 2015. Sessions will consist of 55 minutes of individual bal work, passing/possession and will end with 20 minutes of small sided games.
