Purpose
Each year the Bedford Basketball League offers a scholarship for up to 3 high school seniors who plan to pursue post-secondary education in college or vocational programs, and who demonstrate strong character traits consistent with the mission of the Bedford Basketball League (BBL). Scholarships are offered for full-time study at any accredited post-secondary institution of the student’s choice. Children of current BBL Board Members are ineligible to apply.
The scholarship amount may vary each year at the discretion of the selection committee and the Board of the BBL If no applicant is selected, or no applicant meets the eligibility criteria, the scholarship will not be granted for that year.
