Who is CReW for?

If you have been diagnosed with any type of cancer, you are invited to join our FREE  CReW. No experience, fitness level, or skill necessary, just an interest in trying something new with other survivors and doing something fun and positive with your body. Stop by one of our ongoing Tuesday/Thursday 5:30 - 6:30 pm erg sessions and give it a try. No committment required. **DUE TO COVID-19, ALL ERG (Rowing Machine) SESSIONS ARE CONDUCTED VIA ZOOM - Contact Carin to Arrange for A Loaner Erg if You Need To Borrow One, as well as a private Learn to Row Lesson.***

Indoor Rowing Program

**DUE TO COVID-19, ALL ERG (Rowing Machine) SESSIONS ARE CONDUCTED VIA ZOOM - Contact Carin to Arrange for A Loaner Erg if You Need To Borrow One.***

All Zoom Erg Sessions are on a drop in basis.  There are ususally four (4) sessions a week - come to one or come to all!  The schedule may vary month to month, and should be posted here.  

NEW!! - Starting December Wednesday 6 - 6:45 p.m. Strength Training zoom class - no equipment or experience necessary!

  • We will definitely be Zoom Erging through at least March 1, 2021, at which point there may be a short 4-6 week break before resuming again. On the water rowing ideally will begin June 1. See below.


On The Water Rowing Program

Details of the 2021 On the Water Rowing Program will be determined by the state of the pandemic and what type of boats (singles only or team boats) we can safely row. Ideally, our season would look like this:

6-Week Prouty Rowing Program (on the water)

  • No experience necessary!

  • Learn to row on the water in Upper Valley Rowing Foundation rowing shells. Team boats if possible.

  • June 1 - July 10

  • Ends with participation in the Prouty Rowing Event, Sat. July 10, 2021

Summer/Fall On the Water Rowing

  • Small boats and team boats
