Cost: $165 per child ($99 for Teeny Mite Division) and each child gets a MARA Flag Football Team t-shirt and a participation award. Registration fee is non-refundable after 2/1/2020

 

Late Registration fees begin February 16, 2020

 

Registration for 2020 closes March 2, 2020


Equipment: A deposit check in the amount of $175 will be required for a MARA issued football helmet.  The deposit check (uncashed) will be returned at the end of the season when the football helmet is returned to MARA.

# Makeup games will be held on Friday evenings or Sunday afternoons.  There will be no games played on April 11, 2020 due to Spring Break.

**Age divisions are based on the date of 3/10/20 (i.e., what age will child be on 3/10/20) with divisions ages adjusted as needed to balance the number of players per team and division.


What:  Coed Flag Football League - 4 to 14 years of age**, ***, #, %, &

***MARA reserves the right to change player's division assignments based on the number of participates in each league to balance out team sizes***.

#Each team will play one night game under the lights!

Practices and Games: Will be on Saturdays (typically) for about 2 hours. The two weeks before opening day and during spring break, the coach can have non-mandatory practices. We will set the practice and game schedules after registration is complete.  

Please note the first week of practice is tentatively schedule for the week of March 1, 2020 with the dates and location TBD.  This allows some practice time before the first game on March 14, 2020.


Playoffs: Begin May 15 and continue thru May 17, 2020.  Playoff games maybe played at night depending on game schedules being impacted by weather. Night games will be either on Friday or Saturday nights.


Weather make ups:  We will make up any missed games on Friday evenings or Sunday afternoons.


Night games:  Each team will have one night game under the lights.  Night games will start mid to late April.  Dates are TBD. Night games will be either on Friday or Saturday nights.

  • Food/Drinks:  Full Concessions available at main concession stand
  • Restrooms: Available on premises
  • Seating: Bleachers at some fields but please bring a chair or blanket


Register Now  -  Registration is open until capacity is reached, so register early.  Once capacity is reached, players will be placed on a waiting list.


Want to volunteer or coach?: We will be looking for volunteers to help this season – coaches, team parents and flag football committee members. Volunteers are vital to the success of the program.

All coaches are required to fill out the MARA volunteer form and must past a background check (calendar year 2019).
